We provide these partners financial and human capital investments in the form of sponsorships, donations, grants, investments, general volunteerism and financial education.

${brands.bankFullName} strengthens our distressed and/or underserved communities through community development grants and investments that focus primarily on building an educated workforce, strengthening local economies, providing stable housing, and building vibrant neighborhoods. Grant Applications are accepted in two annual cycles as detailed below. If you represent an organization that focuses on one these initiatives, you may apply during one of the open application periods.

  • The application period for Stable Housing, Vibrant Neighborhood and Economic Development initiatives closed on February 12th and will reopen in early 2019.
  • Applications will be accepted for initiatives supporting an Educated Workforce from June 4, 2018 thru July 6, 2018.

Every ${brands.bankFullName} employee is encouraged to actively serve on community and non-profit boards, and volunteer for charitable events held throughout the year. Volunteering and board membership not only provides our employees with a rewarding chance to give back to our communities, but also provides them with the chance to experience something exciting, unique and culturally enriching that they might not otherwise have been able to experience. In 2015 alone, our employees volunteered over 25,000 hours of their time to support our communities.

First National partners with local employers, schools, and nonprofit organizations to deliver financial education services and tools throughout our communities. Our financial education courses are designed to improve financial literacy and understanding of the banking industry by teaching topics such as budgeting, investing, savings, credit, homeownership, and event small business development.
