Focusing on Value

We are a value-oriented equity manager, with a focus on bottom-up security selection. We search for established companies whose stock prices do not reflect their long-term earning potential. We are not concerned with month-to-month fluctuations in the marketplace, nor do we try to time the market on a short-term basis. We believe that investors eventually will recognize the strong fundamentals of companies that have temporarily fallen out-of-favor in the marketplace.

Our objective is to generate attractive long-term returns with below-average risk. While a value investment program can produce periods of underperformance relative to major market indices, we believe that a diversified portfolio of value-oriented stocks with strong fundamentals and solid management teams will reward patient investors. Capital preservation can be more important than capital appreciation in volatile market environments.
