Trust and Estates
About Us
Financial Strength
In 1929, First National Bank Omaha received its trust powers. The Trust Division
has successfully managed money since that time in both personal trust and institutional
areas, including retirement planning. The Trust Division has been a leader in
providing an array of financial services to individuals, businesses, tax-exempt
organizations and municipalities. We have recently expanded the mission of the
Trust Division in forming the Wealth Management Group. Our affluent clients
will benefit from the combined resources of trust, private banking and brokerage
services provided by our First National Investments & Planning brokerage operation.
Consistent Leadership
Since our inception on Valentine's Day 1929, there have been only four Division Head changes.
Impressive Success
The assets of First National's Trust Division have grown from $3.5 billion
to $7.0 billion since 1990. Assets under management have grown from
$1.2 billion to over $2.5 billion in that same time. Assets managed
in tax-exempt accounts exceed $1.75 billion and include public funds,
401(k) plans, profit sharing plans, pension plans and charitable trusts.
