As a team member of one of the top 15 agricultural lenders in the nation, Sr. Vice President Tom Jensen is committed to helping agribusinesses and community banks reach their goals. In banking since 1978, he joined First National Bank in 1984 as a Senior Administrative Representative. Tom was promoted to Senior Agricultural Lender in 1993, and Department Managerin 2002. He has played an instrumental part in increasing the department's portfolio from $55 million in 1987 to $575 million today.

Tom holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He currently serves as a member of the Nebraska Cattleman and National Cattleman's Beef Association, and as a board member of Nebraska Independent Community Bankers. Brian Frevert

Brian Frevert, Vice President and Senior Ag Lender
Brian joined the Agribusiness Banking Team as a Vice President in August 2002, and was named the Senior Agricultural Lender in 2003. Brian started his ag lending career with First National Bank of North Platte, NE in 1991 and has held positions in Scottsbluff, NE and Wichita, KS.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree with a double major in Finance and Agricultural Business. Contact Brian Frevert at extension 3521.

Stuart Fox, Vice President
Stuart started his banking career in 1994 with a large regional bank in Omaha. In 2000 he joined the First National team as an Ag Lender and in 2002 was asked to head up the Ag Inspection Group which he did until April 2007 when he rejoined the Ag Lending team as a Vice President. In 2001, First National gave Stuart the opportunity to move back to his home town of Broken Bow, NE where he grew up on a farm and ranch and is able to help out with the family operation as time allows.

Stuart was a member of the first graduating class of the University of Nebraska @ Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in management. Stuart is located in a Loan Production Office in Broken Bow, NE and can be reached at (308) 870-3473.



Wade Horton

Wade Horton, Vice President
Wade began his banking career in 1985, in Northeast Kansas. He then spent nine years with a community bank in Garden City, Kansas providing bank products to the agribusiness community. In July of 1998, he joined First National Bank, where he is a Vice President and continues to specialize in agribusiness banking.

Wade is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics. He is also active in various state and local agribusiness organizations.

Additionally, Wade was past chairman of the statewide Nebraska Cattlemen’s Ball and continues to serve on the board for this organization, which raises funds for cancer research and local health agencies. Contact Wade Horton at extension 3582.

A longtime agribusiness professional, John is an integral part of the Agribusiness Banking Team. As Vice President for the Colorado Loan Production Office since 1993, he provides agricultural loan products to customers throughout Colorado, Western NE, Kansas, and California. His career includes 29 years in agribusiness lending, working for well-respected financial institutions across the Midwest.

John is a graduate of Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado, and is a member of Colorado Cattle Feeders, Kansas Livestock Association, and the T-Bone Club of Greeley, Colorado. Contact John Norwood at (800) 574-4095.



Chris Kalkowski

Chris Kalkowski, Second Vice President
Chris joined the First National Team in 1998 in the Technology Services Division after leaving the United States Air Force. He transitioned to Agribusiness Banking in 2003 to utilize his agricultural background. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Creighton University and a Masters of Business Administration from Bellevue University. Chris grew up in Rock County, Nebraska, and continues to help manage his family ranch in Boyd County.

Chris was a Nebraska LEAD fellow and is a lifetime member of the National FFA Alumni. He currently is a member of the Nebraska Cattlemen and National Cattlemen's Beef Associations, serves on the executive board of Ag Builders of Nebraska, serves on the Nebraska FFA Foundation Board of Directors, and is active in his local church. Brent Lahman

Brent joined First National Bank in October 2001 as a Credit Analyst at the Colorado Loan Production Office. He has over 10 years agricultural production experience working primarily with dairies. Josh Tresemer

Josh Tresemer, Agribusiness Banking Officer
Josh joined First National Bank in September 2000 and has worked with a variety of agribusiness and commercial clients since his arrival. He is a graduate of Iowa State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. In college, Josh gained valuable work experience in chemical sales and commodity merchandising through summer internships. He continues to serve the agribusiness sector in his current role by managing a credit portfolio over a wide array of industry types.

Josh is an active member of the Omaha Jaycees, serves as a mentor for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Midlands, and has been involved in several philanthropic activities in the Omaha metro area. Contact Josh Tresemer at extension 3180.
