At First National Bank Omaha we understand the importance of customer security. We are committed to protecting your confidential information, that is why it is one of our top priorities.
Account Security
- Do not share your account numbers, user ID and passwords with anyone. Each individual should have their own user ID and password. When logging on you will never be required to enter an account number or any other information that pertains to that account. Contact us if you think that someone may know your user ID or password.
- Store new and cancelled checks and any other documents that contain your account number in a safe place or make sure that they are disposed of properly. Our Online Services can help eliminate documents that could be intercepted.
- When viewing account information online, completely log off of the session when you leave. This is extremely important when using a public computer to prevent viewing by others. First National Online provides a log off link on each page as well as automatically logging you off after 10 minutes of inactivity.
- First National requires all browsers that are used to access account information to have 128-bit encryption. Use of 128-bit encryption technology is one of the most secure forms of encryption currently available on the Internet. Check out our System Requirements to see how you can download a 128-bit browser for free.
- When banking or shopping online it is recommended that you have the latest security features to provide the safest web site performance.
- Protect your computer by using anti-virus software and firewalls. Be sure to keep your computer security up-to-date by evaluating your settings and security levels frequently.
- First National Online customer's are protected when banking online as we only display the last four digits of their account number. See what Online Banking has to offer and review our Online Banking Quick-View Tours.
- Reduce the risk of identity and account theft by signing up to receive your statements online.
