Priority Alerts is a free service from First National that delivers email alerts notifying you when important events occur on your accounts. You can sign up to receive emails when your statement information is available to view online, when your payments are due, when your payments have posted and more. Just select the alerts that are right for you.
No, the Priority Alerts service is absolutely FREE to First National online customers.
Alerts are sent to your email address via unsecured email. For that reason, we do not send confidential or personal information within the alert message.
First National will display your first and last name with the last four digits of your account number in each email alert that comes from us.
No, all you need to receive the alerts is a valid email address.
We ask that you please do not reply to the alert emails. If you have questions about the email or the Priority Alerts service, please go to the Contact Us section of the site and use the secure email function located there.
If you have not received an alert, go to the View My Alerts page in the Priority Alerts section of the site to view all of the alerts you have set up on your accounts. If there is an alert on your list that you have not received, please check your spam or deleted files. If you have any questions or concerns about alerts, Contact Us.
Yes, the Priority Alert service and/or your ability to receive Priority Alerts, can be terminated. As stated in the Priority Alerts agreement, First National Bank Omaha reserves the right to terminate or change its Priority Alert without prior notice to you. Please review the Alert Agreement on the Account Services page for additional information.
Signing up for Priority Alerts is simple. All you need is an account that is enrolled online and a valid email address. Then just click on the Account Services tab and view the Priority Alerts section of the site and in 3 easy steps you'll be managing your accounts with greater ease.
Alerts are offered on the following types of accounts: credit cards, lines of credit, loans, checking, savings, money markets, CDs and IRAs.
There are specific alerts available for each type of account. When you sign up for Priority Alerts, you can choose which alerts you want to receive for each of your enrolled accounts. We will only send you those alerts that you want, so you're always in control.
You can quickly and easily update your alerts. Just choose Set Alerts in the Priority Alerts section and select the account you want to update. Then choose which alerts are right for you.
Yes, you can specify two email addresses for each account you have enrolled online. When you set up your alerts, you can choose which email address you would like the alert to be sent to.
To change your email address(es) go to the Update Info section of the site.

Statement Information Available
You'll be notified when your statement information is available to view online. Paper statements will continue to be mailed to you. If you'd like to stop receiving paper statements, sign up for eStatements. To enroll in eStatements select the eStatements option in the Account Services section of the site.
Payment Due
You can set this alert to notify you 5-15 business days before your credit card payment is due.
Payment Posted
You'll be notified when your credit card payment has posted to your account. If multiple payments are received the same day, the payments will be totaled and sent within one alert.
Payment Not Posted
You'll be notified when your credit card payment has not posted to your account by the first business day after your payment due date.
Nearing Credit Limit
You can set this alert to notify you when your credit card balance is within a certain dollar amount of your credit limit.
Credit Limit Exceeded
You can set this alert to notify you when you have exceeded your credit limit.
Credit Posted
You'll be notified when a credit posts to your credit card account.
Purchase Exceeds Set Amount
You can set this alert to notify you when a purchase exceeds an amount you specify.
Payment Not Posted
You'll be notified when a credit card payment has not posted to your credit card account by the due date.

Balance Update
You can set this alert to notify you when the Current Balance on your checking account falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.
Deposit Received
You will be notified when a deposit has posted to your account and the amount of the deposit.
Checks Presented for Payment
You will be notified when a specified check has been received by the bank for payment. You can specify up to three checks to be monitored.
Nearing Potential Overdraft
You can set this alert to notify you when the Available Balance on your checking account, which may include any lines of credit or overdraft protection, falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.
Overdraft Protection Activated
You will be notified when an overdraft protection advance has been made to your account.

Balance Update
You can set this alert to notify you when your balance falls below a certain dollar amount that you specify.
Deposit Received
You will be notified when a deposit has posted to your account and the amount of the deposit.
Checks Presented for Payment
You will be notified when a specified check has been received by the bank for payment. You can specify up to three checks to be monitored.
Savings Withdrawal Limit Reached
You will be notified when the maximum number of free savings account withdrawals is reached.

Maturity Date
You'll be notified 10 business days before your Certificate of Deposit or IRA matures.
Interest Paid
You'll be notified when interest is paid to your Certificate of Deposit or IRA.
This alert is just a reminder and should not be replied to. If your CD is set to automatically renew upon maturity, it will renew for the same term if we do not hear from you. If you would like to contact someone about your CD, Contact Us.

Nearing Credit Limit
You can set this alert to notify you when your line of credit account balance is within a certain dollar amount of your credit limit.
Credit Advance
You will be notified when a line of credit advance is made to your checking account

Payment Due
You can set this alert to notify you 5-10 business days before your loan payment is due.
Payment Posted
You'll be notified when your loan payment has posted to your account. If multiple payments are received the same day, only the last payment amount will be included in the alert.
At the end of each business day, when the Priority Alerts are generated, the last payment that posts to your loan account will be the payment amount that is reflected on your alert. If there were multiple payments made, or if the loan payment(s) were split between principal and interest, the alert amount may not match the amount of the payment you made. It is recommended that if your alert does not match the amount of your last payment, that you go to www.firstnational.com and log on to our secure web site to view your loan account history.
