Generally, we will lend up to 65% of book value of the bank stock provided as collateral, provided the loan amount can be repaid in less than 10 years. Amortization periods normally range from 5 to 10 years. Bank stock loans are monitored by loan portfolio reviews (frequency determined case by case), and financial statements on the bank and holding company. Interest rates may be fixed or variable and are determined by the financial condition of your company.
