First National Bank offers one of the most comprehensive account reconciliation and check fraud loss reduction systems available today. We use leading industry software so we can give you superior service, flexible input and output methods, and timely turnaround.  With our variety of products and services, we'll help you keep your accounts in perfect order:

Positive Pay- Each time you issue checks, you will send us a file that includes the check number, dollar amount, issue date and even the payee name. As checks are presented back to your account, we will compare them to the issue file and provide you with images of any checks that have discrepancies (exceptions). All checks with exceptions are viewable online where you are able to make your pay or no pay decisions.

Reverse Positive Pay- we will provide you with a report of items presented for payment on a daily basis. You will then compare the checks with your issue file and make your pay/no pay decision daily.

Paid-item-only Reports- we will help you identify outstanding items more quickly by providing you a list of paid items in numerical sequence, including dollar amounts, paid dates and serial numbers, for the accounting period. These items may be sent via paper or electronic transmission daily, weekly, or monthly.

Full Reconciliation Reports- at designated intervals – daily, weekly, or monthly - you send us information on issued checks via data transmission and we'll match data to checks presented for payment. We will then provide you with a listing of paid and outstanding checks during a given period.

Payee Name Verification- further enhances Positive Pay by using the latest image recognition software to verify the Payee Name and address in addition to the serial number, dollar amount, and issue date.

Online Exception Viewing- you have the ability to view images, research, edit, and process exception items on the same day they are received.
